Cameras are traps in Hello Neighbor.
Once the protagonist has been caught at least once, the Neighbor will start installing a lot of them around his house. When the protagonist walks into a camera's line of sight, it will alert the Neighbour with a loud beep. Repeatedly walking through a camera will cause it to beep louder and higher pitched. A camera can be destroyed by throwing an item at it, though if the protagonist is caught, any broken cameras will eventually be replaced. In Alpha 1, the cameras are instead turned off by cutting the power to the Neighbor's house. The cameras can be picked up even if switched on.
